Sara Goodman's work embraces both function and form. Ancient processes are used in contemporary ways, combining weaving, the resist dyeing techniques of ikat and shibori, felting, and stitching. Using the luxurious natural fibers of wool, silk and cotton velvet, Sara creates fabrics for clothing and for the home.
