Worked with Michel Garcia and the dyers at the Threads of Life studio in Bali to develop recipes for Western artists to use Symplocos as a 100% plant mordant with natural dyes. Traveled to the community of Mbo Bhenga on the island of Flores, where the Symplocos leaves are collected from the surrounding forest.
